laugh.gif I've had a few parts from my old Vw Gti laying around so i finally decided to try my old pipercross cone from my golf on my toyota ! And it fits - well ! sounds pretty good too - nice deep growl

Should be ok i guess ?? I also drilled a hole in the tubing for the sensor which isnt shown in the pics rolleyes.gif

I had a thing like on for awhile. Except I had my filter boxed off from the engine bay and the tub was running through the fender. But, it's kind of the same idea.

yeah i added that too - runs from the bottom of the front bumper to where you see it there , may not make a huge difference but every bit of cold air helps i guess

I guess it's not a huge worry, BUT, if you're going down the highway and you hit a patch of water could there be danger in that? If there was enough water on the road, could it go up your little pipe and soak your filter? I know it's a small thing, I was just wondering if it could be some kind of problem.

Highly unlikely... especially because the pipe is rough corrugated inside, it'll end up....

thats what I figured, I knew it would be a long shot. I'm just making sure he's not going into a swamp or anything, like the ones I frequently drive through.
