ive been reading all the posts and it looks like eibach and tein are the most popular lowering springs. Could i basically go with either brand and be safe with them? Or is there other choices out there...

I will most likely get them off ebay cuz theyre around $200 on there, would ebay not be a good place to get them or is it ok.

Both Eibach and TEIN are very respectable brands, as well as Tanabe, TRD, etc. etc.

FYI: There are two types of TEIN, one is Japanese made, one is Taiwanese made.

Actually, best price I could find on the Eibach Pro-Kit was from coximport.com.

The unit price wasn't the best, but it was free shipping within the continental US, compared to the usually overpriced shipping charged by E-bayers that made the difference.

I sell alot of Eibach kits to people for there cars and I have never gotten any complaints. I heard Intrax are good springs too. 1.8 front drop and a 1.7 rear drop.

I love my sportlines. The ride remains smooth as stock and they really help the cornering of your already fine cornering car. FYI - TRD=Sportlines with a slightly smaller drop. So go Sportlines and get the same ride with a little lower drop - IMO.
I've hadd mine for about two years now and my stock struts are still in great shape. I do have the sport package upgrade though.
The only down side - It's sort of a conservative drop. If you want something really low you need another brand.

I'll be putting my aerospeed coilovers on in a week or to. Playr said they are really good. But TEIN would prolly be the best system.

I have the Eibach Prokit's on mine, with new KYB GR2's, and it rides really good. It's only a little lower than stock, and not too bumpy.

I decided against the Sportlines because the KYB's are not warrantied for drops over 1", and the Sportlines are like 2" drops. Didn't want to blow brand new struts...
