i am looking at a '00 celica GTS. i already have a 98 GT. the '00 is loaded, 6-speed, has 15,000 less miles, is much faster and newer. what should i do? i love my car, but the new one is so much faster. i'm not worried about money here. thanks

I'm gonna say that the new celica just isn't as nice as the 6th gen. Better quality and more 'daily driver' torque.

Well you know that you could easily make your 6G much faster than a stock 7G and save money too.

the problem with the 7th gen celicas is that they have no low end power. just like hondas. they handle pretty well though

think of it this way, instead of losing money on selling your car and paying more for a newer car you could do an engine swap and be way faster than a 00+ gts.

plus insurance might come into play, the insurance is a lot higher.
