what would be the disadvantages of running copper piping with maybe some kind of heat wrap....asking this because i have access to 2" piping and it would be very cheap.

I like Presure2 said it was hot as heat resistant and would bend. Either way, I've never heard of it being a good idea.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

copper um. problaby hard to get big enough pipe thats not 100 lbs and an inch think.

for cheap pipe just get a load of random no-name CAI peaces with diff bends and what not, there very cheap and then cut em up to your needs. if your worried about heat wrape it with some heat resistant tape.

why do you want to use 2" piping? is this for a 5sfte or 3sgte? you must have some kind of fmic / smic in mind already right?

abs wouldnt be a bad idea.

its pvc but its flame retardent. its also black.

i dont think it comes in bends but to bend it.

get a outdoor deep fryer. those big ones. and het it up to 450+ F.

stick the pipe in there and pull it out and bend it.

oh also its really cheap.
