In the beginning I was a little unsure, I thought the fat kid was going to be the God of the mountain, but then everything took off. Real good movie. I thought it was going to be complete trash. It makes me want an AE86 even more. And whats with the guys in the leather jackets and studs everywhere. Tacky.
All-in-all; good movie. Any more out now? -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

The movie doesn't compare to the series at all.. Watch the series is you haven't already and you will be amased. I just saw the entire series (up to the point it's at the moment). Stage 1, 2, 3 (it's a movie) and 4 up to episode 23 or something.. And I have the regular movie version. It's good, but nothing compared to the tv show.. And most things are just pure wrong in the movie, compared to the show.

Oh crap, the price of AE86's is going to shoot up now. I was really wanting to get one of those too. Oh well. I'm not paying 10k for a 20 year old car with rust spots.

nobody wants a SR5
they don't have a LSD and they're just plain weak. sr5s are DDs take lots of money to build up, and a good ae86 is 5-7k wayyy too much IMO, which is why i went sc300. nothing LIKE a hatchi, but i get looks along w/ my weight -------------------- |

I'm not paying 10k for a 20 year old car with rust spots. not even close. the series and the fact it is a good beginners drift car is what raised the price over a decade ago when initial D first started coming out. a crappy pseudo-remake done with real actors instead of the CG/Cartoon everyone is used to isnt going to make a lick of difference. overall it was terrible.. ive never seen a remake that actually meshed 2 charicters into 1 person lol they changed too much. -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm... yea, they did a good job of making me hate his friend though
too bad there wasn't even the S13 guy for him to learn from n such...he was just BA in this movie, lol I had the first couple Manga books for Initial D, and i wanted the DVDs, but when it actually came available on DVD i grabbed it. Realized how popular it was shortly after and quit paying attention. so yea, i own the first one and like 2-3Manga books -------------------- |

Movie was gay... the ultimate gay. The series is very good. I've seen them all even through stage 4... which has supposedly ended at episode 24. For those who are inspired to buy an AE86 after watching these movies... the AE86 is a slow car... but with massive build potential. Also... they cost quite a chunck of change considering their age and typical condition.
