I got dusted by a fellow 6gc member this mornin didnt even kno it!, what makes it so bad is that he was drivin a mirage! Options

hey everyone! i was on my way to the DREADED workplace this morning and as i go around the bend of the on ramp i notice a little red mirage takin teh curve pretty well, i drive past him and dont pay much attention, but then i look in my rearview and notice he's gaining on me. im thinking who in a mirage wants a piece of the ALMIGHTY 6G ST!! so i hit the gas a bit then slow down. he pulls next to me and gives me the peace sign, i wave back at him and push the overdrive button and floor it! he hits the gas and pulls off on me! now he wasnt utterly spanking me like i usually get but it was enough. i start thinking...who was that guy? a second later my phone rings and its no other than our very own errrkshady! he met up with us at nopi last year, and he told me how he lost his celi and we catch up. i thought it was a pretty pleasant experience to see someone from 6gc.


moral of the story....mirages are faster than the st.
and the person who spanks you may very well be one of your own...aint that a kick in the head?

STX i swear!!! we were already doin like 70 and he started pulling on me little by little!! i wish he was still active onthis site, he would probably be jokin me right now its so emarassing! i remember my first little HINT of how weak the celica was YEARS ago...i tried to outrun a little old pontiac fiero (remember those) and it SPANKED THE CRAP outta me! i was like....damn i thought this car was fast!! (i was so young, so naieve)

man thats so true. i personally like watching my speedometer creep up like its approaching lightspeed. im always amazed when i get over 70mph, its a damn miracle!

what model and year was his mirage? if it's an es or ls, those have 113 hp, only 2 away from ur st, and they only weigh 2100-2200

actually, its the 2nd leading swap down from 3sgte - most people who are going NA go this route with the 20v. i want a 20v

I know how that goes. One time from a roll on the streets, and got womped. Then later at the track. Got smoked again. The track one is somewhere on streetfire.net too.
