I'm just letting you guys know that the forum software upgrade from 2.1.3 to 2.1.5 is done, but some stuff has to be re-written and re-coded.

That's why stuff looks different and some stuff is gone.

Things will be back to normal shortly.

Regards,
Christian Coomer

While I'm taking a break from programming for a minute, I'll enlighten you guys in why I upgraded the forums.

The old version(2.1.3) had a couple serious security vulnerabilities that had to be fixed. Also, over 50 other bugs were fixed by this upgrade.

With this version, I'm planning on implementing a trader rating system, similar to eBay's. I couldn't find anything readily-available, so it looks like I'll be coding my own, which will be a ton of work but should be worth it once I'm done.

Also,
I plan to implement a few new features soon as well. smile.gif

Coomer-
I am very thankful that you have taken the time to create such a great site. There is very little information out there for a celica and when I found this site I almost had a heart attack. tongue.gif Once again thanks for building this site!!! biggrin.gif

It's an added mod. I figured while I'm coding I might as well work on as much as I can.

Here is the thread for discussion of the topic preview. smile.gif

Will the trader rating system have the ability to be "pro-rated." As in can we go back and add to the ratings from previous purchases according to the sticky?

Possibly. I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to implement it, but comments like this are good so I can design accordingly.

This forum is by far the greatest out there... My question is, what if people are selling multiple items or parting a car out. It can never really be "completed" so will buy/sell feedback be compatible with those large amounts?

Yes, it will be compatible with those. Check this thread for more information.
