HI, i was thinking about swapin the 4AGZE into my ST, and then taking off the supercharger and upgrading to a turbo system,, any ideas as to how much horse power the 4AGZE could put out? or how much PSI it could safely run on?

i know all about the 4azge/turbo setup because all of my friends have it to drag on their corollas and man they are all evo spankers let me tell you, all you really need is the gze ecu and an safc2, and on stock internals weve cranked out up to 20 pounds of boost and itll take it well, i believe on a setup like that my friends have pulled out 250 whp out of corolla 1986 rwd

Yeah, I wouldn't be suprised at all to see 250whp on a well built turboed 4AGZE.

Yup, the gze is a real solid motor you can build up to and beyond 250 hp, (all the way to the 350 area i believe) on stock internals and just upgrading the fuel system, U'll need standalone ems however to run properly @ 20 psi tho, my understanding is that the stock ecu can only handle about 14 - 15 psi-ish.

Feel free to correct if wrong smile.gif

not sure wut kinda evo's but 400+ no way not unless modded up. they come with a little less then 300 and thats not to the wheels. Corollas with turbo 4agze are fast and light thats why they can take evo's. But then again u gotta remember Drag and FWD vs AWD for launches.

well the corollas are runnin about 13's highs and lows on drag radials and keep in mind that its rwd and its a light car, i think a celica would run anywhere from 14's to 13's deppending on driver and tires
