Well for those of you that dont know i work at a mazda dealership about two weeks ago i was talking to my manager.I was telling him that i was looking to swap a 3sge engine in my celica and asked him if he knew any mechanics or if he could get me a better deal , because hhe has mad connections with other companies.
Half way through our talk he told me that he could get me a rx-8 real cheap and if i was interested
i have do give him an answer in a week so he could start looking
What do you guys think
i've driven the car many times it's great and i have always been a fan of rear wheel drive
As for the celica my brother is getting he's lisence and offered to buy it from me
WHAT SHOULD I DO???????

It would depend how cheap like super said?

But be prepare for more maintainance and
more money for petrol. They consume as
much as a V8.

Got to be the 8 rather than the hasstle of doing the swap imho. If it was a choice between a GT4 and an 8 then it would have to be the 4 but out of the choices you have I would say go for the 8, less things to worry about (warranties will cover most things) and a new car.

Hi guys thank's for your opinion.I'm getting the 8 about 5grand less which brings to about 19 to 20.000 euros this is good money for an 8 .As for the maintence and how much it consumes that is the only thing that trouble even though the 8 is far more reliable than the 7
I talked over with my dad he believes i should go for the 7th generation celica because they are more reliable and the t sport has the same hp with the 8 (192bhp) its so confusing for the last year i've been going back and forth with swap or new car i feel like a small child.HELP

get the rx-8 and give the celica to your brother and just borrow it whenever you want. so in a way you'll have 2 cars.
