I read through a post or sticky somewhere that there isn't really a difference between a stock performance air filter and a air intake. The difference is very minimal... unless its a cold air intake..
So my question is.. as you guys can see I'm not very educated about these things.. What would you guys prefer? If any... would there be a difference in any of these? K & N Air filter Green Air filter AFE Air filter and Fram also i think. thanks This post has been edited by hmongtaejien: Apr 13, 2006 - 4:30 PM |

i have a bias towards k&n, but really you are looking at the same gain for any quality aftermarket filters.

That's what I thought also... Sorry for not knowing any of the terms... but what would cai be? Yea that's what I though too.. I just wanted to know if you guys here prefer any one of them for the other.. like let's say a better quality or it lasts a little bit longer or anything... The reason is because I used to look at import tuner magazines and all that stuff... I've seen Green and K & N listed in the pages all over the places.. but rarely AFE and Fram.. so that's why thanks |

k&ns are very good high cfm filters and can be cleaned easily and have a lifetime warrenty, thats why i like em. i actually have one lying around, with an x-treme top, very nice, cost me 80 bucks. i may sell it soon.
