Firts off, id like to say hello, i just joined and am extatic to have found a 6th gen specific forum for my celica. I own a 94 GT with a slushbox tranny.
I was browsing the site and read about the Toyota Curren that was not sold in the US, and it got me thinking.... Is it possible if i bought the fenders, bumper hood and headlights could i swap them out and make it work on my sixth gen? Personally i like the look of the curren headlights better, but im just pondering here.. im guessing this idea is somewhat rediculous and way to expensive. |

Its definitley possible, I actually think one is in the works with one of the members of this site I think the hardest part would be the frame on the front where the headlights are. That would need to be replaced

I think Consynx was considering doing this.
He has all the panels for the conversion. But then sold it. -------------------- 98 ST204 ZR - Black Beauty - Roaming the streets of Sydney 73 TA22 LT - Tiffany Blue - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 75 TA22 LT - Snow White - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 77 RA28 LT - Flubber Green - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 94 MX-5 NA8 Clubman - Red Racer - Looking for corners WIP Project: 69 RT40 Corona, 2nd WIP Project: 66 RT40 1600s Corona 86 Corona RT142 - Daily Driver 6GC 4 Life Baby!!! |

I think it would be pretty cool on a coupe, because no one in there right mind would have a clue what it is... On the other hand spending the 2k+ todo the conversion is ouch on the pocket, its like the honda boys and there ITR fronts... I still dont get it...
Anyways, Fenders, Hood, Core Support, headlights, bumpers, random grouments. DTE -------------------- I am a thief.
do not buy anything from me. |
