I was wondering if it would be a good idea to use the transmission oil cooler that the awd tranny uses from the all-trac. There are two metal hoses at the bottom of the e-153 that lead into each other vs . the ones from the all trac tranny lead to the oil cooler. Sometimes after running the car really hard it has a hard time going into gear. will using the cooler help any?? thanks ahead of time for any responses.

No its not necessary as they dont come with one stock. There is a place for it though so you can put the Alltrac on if you have one. I will be doing this also, my e153 currently is not using one.

Bump this Question..... What do you guys think ? I see the two lines but would it be better ? I asked this question now cause after doing the swap, and my car was an auto at first I have the two tranny cooler lines leading from the radiator. Would It help just to hook up the E153 lines to that? seriously guys what you think ? would it hurt?

Would it be better to use the auto trans cooling ports in the radiator, or better to get a small radiator JUST for the trans? Is engine temp too high for a MT?
