500-1000 parts and labor. if you're going to get it done, spend the extra 200 and get a power one, or at least one you can slide. i mean, the $$ part is cutting the roof. and if it's glass, it's a moonroof. a sunroof is body colored and opaque. see if there is a tops and trends in your area... they will be under automobile convertible tops and/or customization in the phone book. they specialize in custom moonroofs and stuff. they may be a little more $$, but they will do it right. don't have some hack shop cut up your celica, you can really mess the car up putting in a sunroof if you don't do it properly.

I went to a local custom shop today, and they have a moonroof that pops up at one end and it is $289 for the kit and $100 to install, but i really do want a power one

If it's done right, it doesn't leak. My Celica has an aftermarket power moonroof and it doesn't leak.
Check with the shop that's doing the install and see what kind of warranty you'll get against leaking. |

you prolly have the factory installed one. Those are usually the best, but I've heard bad things about aftermarket ones also. -------------------- psalm 69 |

that's why i said it can be 1000 if it's a proper job. a cheapo 300 dollar roof/installation will most likely leak. if you are going to do something like this, do it right, or you'll regret it later. -------------------- 1994 Lexus ES300
