Now i know this will differ from car to car, person to person, but i found this list in one of my magazines. There are two lists one for NA cars and one for Turbo'ed cars. They are basically lists of performances upgrades and the order you should do them in. (but they do state its different for every car)
Here they are: All-Motor Performance Part Upgrades 1. Performance Air Intake System 2. High-Flow Cat-Back Exhaust System 3. Performance Header 4. Grounding Kit 5. Cat-Bypass/Test Pipe 6. Underdrive Accessory Pulleys 7. Performance Intake Manifold 8. Larger Throttle Body 9. Higher Lift/ Longer Duration Camshafts 10. Adjustable Cam Gears 11. Fuel/ VTEC Controller (we don't have vtec) 12. Performance Spark Plugs 13. Ignition System Upgrade 14. Lightened Flywheel 15. Performance Clucth 16. High Compression Pistons 17. Stroker Crankshaft 18. Metal Head Gasket 19. Individual Throttle Bodies (ITBs) 20. Turbo Kit 21. Nitrous-Oxide System (order can change based on vehicle) Turbo Performance Part Upgrades 1. Nitrous-Oxide System What do you guys think of that? might be a good tech article, IF we tweak it to fit the engines we run. 5sfe, 5sfte, 3sgte, etc. etc. Just thought it might be interesting, if anyone has input on how we could change it to fit something like the popular 3sgte swap that would be cool.
