I just installed red bulbs into my gauge cluster and its not spread evenly...every thing is good except from 40 mph to 70 mph..that area is dim nearly impossible to read when driving...any solutions or ideas???

Well, there has been speculation that because everything is supposed to be green in our cluster that the colors get filtered when you use other bulbs (I tried blue and couldn't read anything so I switched back to green). Your other choice is to try and find a brighter bulb. Good luck.

how many volts bulb do you guys use? My red bulbs are 12v....Can I put in a bulb with more volts and will it be safe?

dude its better safe than have your lights burn or even your cluster. read the stock bulb, it has the volt and everything you need to get.

try the POLARG globe bulbs..they're bright..ive used leds n i have teh same problem as u do.....

I had that problem when I first changed my bulbs to amber. It was barely readable. I fixed it by getting a new bulb, your bulb might be defective for the one that is dim. Because I now have raybrig bulbs amber and they are perfect.

well tonite i was driving home from work and the lights on my cluster doesn't have that dim anymore...that was weird...but i might change the bulbs to a brighter red because it doesn't shine as bright...

yupp, i saw that happen too when I first changed it, first it was dim then it went back to normal, but I changed that one bulb just to make sure. It might have to do something with if the contacts are touching good enough or off by a bit.
