So can I get touch up paint from my dealer? I recently used the last of the bottle that the previous owner gave to me, and i touched up some chips. When a random A$$ HOLE decided to key my car. How should I go about touching it up? Do I need to sand down the chips first? Thanks For your time in advance.

Yea you can can just go to your dealer and get it. Its like $7 for a bottle of it. I dunno how exactly to fix your keying situation. There was that infomercial on a while ago where they guy scratched the hood of his car and used this stuff they where advertising to fix it. All they did was wipe it on. I dunno how good it really works, looked good on tv though haha

You can get touch-up paint at kragens. Just look at your door and there should be a paint codefor your car. Once you have the paint code go to kragen's and look in the book in the touch up paint section then just look for it. I don't think you need to sand it down unless you have a huge paint chip. Just use the touch up paint. Use a tooth pick, dont use the brush that comes with the touch up paint those are too big even though they look small trust me.

if you have a minor scratch or swirl mark on your car. use turtle wax cleaner swirl remover that ****s the best =) but unfortunately the guy keyed your car so you'll have to use touch up paint.

the way I do it is to first prime the chip with touch-up primer, sand it down, and airbrush the color, sand it down, spray on the clear coat, sand it down.

you absolutely, positively cannot see the repair unless you look at the paint from a very particular angle under very particular lighting condition only then do you see the border between the old clear coat and the new clear coat.
