I have PIAA "high intensity blue" 194 LED lights. The blue color and intensity is really nice, but because they are LEDs, it doesn't give an even distribution of light like the regular bulbs. It seems to me that blue light is harder to see, in general, if it is not completely dark outside.

My advice would be to stay away from LEDs in your gauge cluster. I've tried three different kinds of LEDs, all with poor results due to uneven light distribution. I'm very happy with my regular colored type 194 bulbs that I got at my local auto parts store.

I agree with Coomer, I used regular blue 194 bulbs that I got from a local R&S Strauss Auto. They were $5 a pop and work great.
