Sorry, I don't think I've ever taken my celi over 80mph...

I find that If I go atleast below 80 I don't get ticketed... or maybe my speedometer is fukin with me

You can figure out how much your spedometer will be off by based on your tire size. Just do (new tire circumference) / (original tire circumfrence) and that will give you the percent your spedometer is off by. For example, if you calculate 1.09 then your spedometer is 9% off in the +. So, that would mean if your spedometer said 65 mph, then you were actually going 71 mph.

It sounds like the officer might not be too far off with his guess. If you send me your tire size (not rim size) I can do the math, and let you know.

edit: just use the link below to figure it out

Yes. <--clicky

mine is prob gonna be 1-2pts on my record, majorly increased insurance rates, and at least $800 frown.gif ... yours is just the fine and traffic school kindasad.gif ...

if the officer is right just pay your ticket go to traf school and learn from it, man i wish i could just do that... the ticket will probably be around $130-$160 +traffic school, about $20 which you should be able to do online reasonably fast.. not too bad if you know you are wrong

ok ive gotten 4 speeding tickets before (like 4 years ago in lb, anaheim, irvine, and newport beach, i havent gotten anymore since then) and they were ~$300 each. u only need driving school if you havent gone in 9 months (somethin like that). if you get more than 3 in a year then i think the fine goes up?? all i know is its not cheap, especially in southern california and la and oc areas will not accept internet traffic school any more.

beats me on the whole racist thing. if they want to pull someone over...then they will. ive been ticketed by white cops and ive been let go with a warning by white cops, i aint gonna judge them by their color and im not gonna dispute the fact that i was speeding when i know i was.

good tip to stay under their radar is the keep it under 75, dont change lanes too quick, dont cut people off, use ur turn signal properly, etc. pretty much everything they look out for. and if u feel like theyre keeping an eye on you, u better be going 65 mph. "everyone else is going the same speed" will definitely not cut it.

last speeding ticket i got was doing a 51 in a 35. ticket was 189 + traffic school.

so basically, the cost of the ticket + traffic school was more than the cost of a set of jdm tails from snap's gb =(

STAY AWAY!!! these guys and their company are SHADY. when I was in the military out there in Cali(camp Pendleton) they were pretty much robbing the Marines that needed their help. They will not get the ticket waived. Youre better off just paying it. Thatll be your best bet. But please stay away from pre-paid legal.

There's lots of references online about fighting speeding tickets, which all involve contesting the ticket at trial. Search around and you should find some info if you want to contest.
