I was just wondering if anyone has gone through a paypal dispute? If so, what happened ..like did anyone escalate the claim so that paypal would review the situation. I just wanna know if I should do that yet .. it's been 15 of 20 allowed days and no solution..

lol .. that sucks for him. Yea in my situation the guy sent me a jersey but it was defective and now he wants me to send it to Thailand when his ebay account is registered in Canada. It's going to cost like $20 to ship it and I paid $30 for the jersey .... my suggestion is for me to just ship it to him in canada and he can forward it.

ANY jersey off ebay is fake, never buy them from there, there is ALWAYS a defect in them i know 4 people who bought HEAT jerseys and they all had defects.

yea for the most part they are fake. I rarely buy jerseys on ebay but the ones I have bought were real .. this one include, the defect was that the World Cup germany patch's ink stuck to the jersey during the mailing process.. probably because of the hot weather.

(I stay away from basketball jerseys on ebay too.. they like mass produce this fake crap it's crazy. I got a nice authentic Manny Ramirez jersey on ebay for $50 .. had the mlb logo on the collar and everything it was pretty sweet!)

Do they review all the posts that are left in the dispute?

i bought memory sticks for my PC off ebay for a pretty good price but the buyer said he didn't have them available and was offering another set for more money... i told the guy either send the product that i won or else i'm filing a dispute from paypal.

i got the refund within 6 hours after i filed the dispute... paypal's awesome!!:)

I think if you escalate it to a claim they investigate it. The process is a little slow but that is your best bet.

i bought an AEM EMS off of ebay

paypalled the seller(forcefedracingnv) $1047.

two weeks went by with out any contact or item. i emailed them a few times and called and left messeges. i filed a dispute with paypal. the seller was given 10 days to respond to paypal. at about day 5 or 6 he emailed me giving a story about how there was a family emergency and no one was left to run the shop. he also said that i could buy anything i wanted from him and he would just charge me his cost.

i replied telling him that i understood and that that is why i had not filed bad feedback with ebay. it was also right around the time that my father past away, and i was in no mood to wait, with out any communication when it was the most expensive thing i had bought on ebay. so i said that it was all ok and asked for a price quote on some parts.

the seller never replied. he also forgot to respond to paypal and the 10 days past up. paypal automatically settled the distpute in my favor. the only problem was there was only $837(or somewhere around there) in the sellers account so paypal gave me all of that. the rest came in check form from the seller after almost 2 months of phone calls and threats of small claims court.

but yea, they are no longer a registered user on ebay. i think it is because another person got ripped off at the same time i did. he bought a cylinder head from them. it took 3 months to get it and when it arrived it was damaged and missing parts.

if he has proof that he shipped the item, it is likely that they will side with the seller.
