I just bought some HID's for my celi and they look freaking awesome. But i'm having some trouble on where to mount the ballests. frown.gif So other people with HID's can you please tell me how you mounted yours or better yet show some pics. biggrin.gif I wanna get an idea of what other people did.

ya.. i wanna kno too.. i didn't mount mine yet... i just placed them on a flat surface and left it there temporarily.. my wiring harness is so long i'm not sure how to hide them either

Hope this helps,
I mounted my left one where the ABS unit is suppose to be. And the right one on the side of the battery enclosure. Gives it a clean look. Used double-sided tape to hold them on. Here's the pics if you didnt understand a word i said hahaha

um, the "H1" is a bulb size, H1 is like for projectors the ballasts dont really have sizes there all pretty much the exact same size and shape. and you cant/should not mod a reg bulb (ex a 9005 bulb) to fit in place of an H1 bulb.

thanks, i dont clean it much maybe once a month for the engine, and i dont pay naything everything done at home but i do go to car lovers once in a while -R

oh wow we can use HID's on our OEM headlights? i thought people needed projectors for HID's since it has something to do with the light/beam pattern? shrugs

well putting them in projectors is much much better, the lenses on them cut off the light and focus it on the road and below fellow drives eyes, putting them in stock housing wile it works fine, can be a little bright for oncoming traffic and your not getting the full affect of the light since its just kinda sent out everywere.
