Thats old school Jeremy Clarkson! Check out the hair! Hes pretty sweet. But from what I've heard of the cosworth, its a pretty badass car, mind the crappy looks. But i dont agree with what he said about 6'2 being too tall. Romas and I can prove that wrong. While i dont know about the GT-4 specific, i know that i fit very comfertably in my USDM GT and im 6'4, and i think that romas is like 6'4 also.

I dont like his reviews, hes better hosting the show or doing the stupid trips they do like caravaning. That was a good one.

Thouse cosworths are rediculus if you put some $ into them. I saw a guy with one done up in France who smoked an evo off the line by about a good 4 or 5 car lengths.

Good find. I love how hes sooo squished in the car though. My friend is 6'5" and he fits in my car fine...his legs are a little squished, but still fits in fine.

MANNN i dont know....i cant believe he claiming there was a power diffrence that the ford was faster. As far as looks yota hands down, but one thing he was right about is price. Some yotas are highly priced.

The ford may be a few thousand less but I would rather shell out a few thousand more than be caught dead in that ugly thing. biggrin.gif

The reason why the GT4 was a bit pricy is a quality one. I dont think that there are any escorts left. I have'nt seen onw in ages.

And also, 2 things about the celis available space.
1.The GT4 clarkson was in had a sunroof which lowers the ceiling about an inch (I can vouch for that myself as my Curren does not have a sunroof but my GT4 has one)
2. Its not only someone height. Clarckson is a bit heavy/wide and has a bit of difficulty bending his tummy.

This is a great find. I was always wondering whether the GT4 was presented on that show. I would have loved to see a bit more action though. That fcuking brit always favors brit cars. A couple of weeks ago he had a guess who bought a range rover and was congratulating her by saying that if she was in an accident she would have more chances in the range rover than a Prius. Dough!

I am 6'1 and fit fine, and find the car to be wild if you want, but still civilized enough to not be getting tickets constantly. Now my little mazda, tho having significantly less power is much more wild and uncivilized and a hell'ova lot of fun ^.^. Oh and for the ford I say the scrap yard, I am a chevy guy when it comes to US domestics.

Concerning height - position behind the wheel has very much meaning. When I first got my GT I was driving with the seat fully backed and quite reclined. Fitting in with no problem (I'm 6'1"). Later I learned proper driving position which is much closer to the wheel. And with it, GT got bit tight.

Getting back to Cossworth vs GT4 - you may be surprised what these little Fords can do (yes, there are still some driving around). And they are cheap to be tuned.

Anyway, I am not buying Cossworth, waiting for my GT4.

The Cosworth is a freakin awsome car. Very fast and fairly cheap. Download Getaway in Stockholm 2, its with a Ford Escort Cosworth and a Supra. Very awsome movie.

cosworths are old school. they run about 250bhp stock and i've seen some tuned to 600bhp + they also did a searra cosworth. To Most of the young lads in the uk these were the cars to have around the early 90s.

But indeed they have nothing in regards to looks over the GT4 biggrin.gif

Kinda funny how on the vid he says the cosworth would beat the GT-4. This video says otherwise, that or the guy in the ford can't drive.
