I just installed a new clutch. The clutch works fine its just when I go to start the car it makes a grinding noise and then starts right up. Any Ideas?

did u need a new clutch or just got one for performance? if u got a new clutch cuz the old one burned out its because ur flywheel will need to get machined id go to the local auto repair shop and have them take a look at the flywheel most places can remachine one really quick if they have the right stuff at the shop i went to midus and they did a whole new clutch and machined my flywheel in one day

When they machine it they resurface the friction part.
Which has nothing to do with starting....

Is your starter fully installed?
Make sure it's fully engaging also.

Did you have any missing teeth on the flywheel?

It might have something to do with either a faulty starter or a crappy installed one. There arent any teeth missing on the flywheel either.

if the flywheel is warped it can cause this.
