Celica Outsider Options

hey i am just wandering have you ever been to like a car meet where a bunch of diffrent cars show up and feel like the celicas are kind of outsiders. I mean the projectors, jdm tails, etc not to many people can apprechiate that stuff for the 6gc and how hard it is to get certain parts. I dont know its weird its liking being the underdog everywhere. Maybe cause my car isnt that nice, i dont know...anybody know what iam sayin?

yep very true.. lots of the subtle mods we do are not noticed by non celica enthusiasts.. thats why I really want to go to some Celica meets.. but I love how everyone thinks its a supra.. or says its cool cuz they don't see these cars at many shows

welll it was a assorment of cars. Yeah most 7th gen owners can appreahiate $850 headlights and other stuff. Yeah i like it a lot better chillin with fellow 6gc owners.

This may seem cheesy man, but when youre around people that have the same passion but diffrent tastes its something special bro. i've been to two 6gc's meet, and i remember every moment. lol

yea, im the ONLY celica enthusiast in my city, so at the meets, everybody just knows me as "the celica guy". Although they liked my cars(mostly because I kept them soooo clean and for show), they never took any of them seriously(they weren't fast enough in a straight line).

That all changed when I got the hotness of the 3sgte:)
but the honda guys still dont respect it....dam 13 sec b16's:S

Hmmm, i can see where yall are comin from.....sometimes if i even say celica in a conversation, i get frowned upon, and get many crazy looks, just because im not talkin about an H22, or a b18.....its rediculous, and funny, when ur around honda guys......

well dont get me wrong its not always honda guys . Srts, nissans also. Maybe its because everyone has a clique you know. I would be willing to bet if it was a Mr2 it would be a diffrent story

thats funny cuz im from a small town and i have the only 6gc in town and when our car club all goes to shows people like look at my car and ask if its a tiburon, or a supra hahaha they have no idea what it is..

I think its funny when they call it a Supra.....look disapointed when you tell them its a Celica.....and look gutted after they challenge you to a race and you kick thier arse and leave them miles behind when they think thier Honda Civic/Integra, Scoobie or whatever could beat you......Very few people know what a GT4 is capable of....I love it.

I love the fact that the Celica is so unique. There is one person in town that has a Celica, and it's stock other than a fat Totota sticker across the window. I want to go to a meet so bad. The Portland one coming up is what I'm banking on.
