naw..7th gen has no potential...no engine to subsitute?..i'd stick with the sexy curves of the 6th gen..
even if it's a 7th gen gts...it's just as slow as our 6th gen...0-60 in 8 secs...why? This post has been edited by block: Sep 18, 2006 - 6:26 PM -------------------- |

ive said it once, ill say it again. totally pointless to ask opinions here. Misinformation and bias runs rampant.

if you can afford it and honestly think it will make you happier than your 6thGen then go for it. if you are asking people for their personal opinions they will be biased just like Akimbo said...its your money your car and your choice...do what's right for you. i'm sure you are capable of making an eduacted decision on which of the two will benefit you more

yeah, do what you want. its your money. you can sell your car for say about 3k and spend 9k on a 7gc. or you can spend 6k fixing up your 6gc. with a 6k budget, the potential is limitless. unless there's something the 7gc can give you that your 6gc can't. your choice.

yeah, but the 6th gen is slow as **** without an engine swap or a turbo. don't get me wrong, i bought mine cause it looked cool.
but the 7th gen has some decent horsepower, although it lacks torque. it does have a huge aftermarket though, more so than our 6th gens could ever hope for. i'd buy a 7th gen GT and toss a turbo on it in a heartbeat. you're looking at 3sgte numbers there, at the very least. some people even supercharge the GT-S, making obscene amounts of power, but it requires a lot of maintenance & tuning to get it right. if you have a lot (a LOT) of money to throw around, get a 7th gen, otherwise stick with the 6th and consider an engine swap or a turbo. |
