I'm in contact with a company that makes HID kits, so we can get the HID conversion KIT Shipped with a minimiun of 10 sets, here is the description of the HIDs they sent me

yes ! they are good ! I actually have them in my car, but they are not HIDs but they are better than stock. I'm really satisfied with them.

so ive been debating jumping on this for a week now, but ive got a few questions. I have a canadian car so my light switch from running light to normal to high.... which bulb type are for running light / normal / high ... Thanks

edit: just went out to have a look at my car.. i coulda sworn i have running lights, but i couldnt get them to come on... Am i crazy ?

edit 2: ok.... Apparently DRL's are your high beams at 40% ... so... are 9006 bulbs for highs and lows ?

high beams are 9005. Just turn your lights onto lowbeam and leave them on that (roll the switch up and leave it rolled up, even when you turn off your car). Ive had mine set on lowbeam for the past 6+ months. Since your lights are DRL wired, the lowbeams automatically turn off when you turn off car and open the door, and automatically come back on when you start the car back up again. No problems so far, except the clock is dimmer.

If you do this, get 9006 (lowbeam) hids, and just leave them on lowbeam setting.

the high beam is the same for JDM and USDM but the low bean for Projectors is H1 bulb and regular low beam is 9006 so no if you have projectors you need H1.

if you can change a light bulb on your headlamps you can installed this.
and yes some glare will be present due to the desing of our housing, it's unovoidable because our housing was made for Halogen. but is not too bad if you get the bulb desing to fit your car.

we have some members on the site with hids. I would say hit them up with this question and post their answer here, since they already experimented on this, they can give you a better idea of how is gonna be.

HID's are very easy to install. All you do is plug the ballast assembly into the stock wiring, and then the HID bulbs are inserted into your headlamps just like the stock bulb. The only difficulty is in tucking away all the excess wiring and the ballast so that its not flying around in your engine bay. It's pretty straightfoward, and like Culpable04 said if you can change a stock headlight bulb, you can do this.

I'm sorry, but I talk to the company and no, they usually handle order of 50+, plus they are shipping to the address of each one of us, he told me that If I get everything shipped to one address they'd give me a discount but them would cost more to us to re-ship the packages to you guys.

and I think if I get any discount has to be for everyone and not for the 20+ because we are all in the same boat here, it wouldn't be fair for some to pay more than others.

Usdm is a 9006 low, projectors are h1 so make sure you get the one you need.

Sure if you are planning on getting the jdm projectors you will need the H1 type bulb. If you are going to keep your usdm lows you will need 9006 type bulbs. They are not interchangable. Now just figure out what color you would like to go with and your set.

Just tell Cupable04 that's what kind you need as well as the color you want. You won't be able to use it until you get the jdm projectors though. If you don't plan on forking over the $500 for the projectors anytime soon and you still want HID get the 9006 type bulb from Cupable04. Do a search and you can see what they look like on both types of lights.

1- no there is not combined shipping, the company is doing all the shipping from their factory to your house and they have their own rules on this.

the connector from the bulb goes to a ballast which is then wired to your car's harness. the stock h1 connector isn't connected to the hid bulb.

the company doesn't sell units, they only deal with big quantities. the bigger the order the lower the price, as any other big company, plus they usually ship all the units to one address. so this is a complete diferent escenarium.

the deadleni for the payment is Oct 6th which is friday. I'll make the order on Oct 9th ( monday ) so you should have your kit 9 days after that. that's what the company said, but they always get here before that.

you don't have to remove the headlights, and thus the front bumper, to install these do you?

USDM low beam headlights use 9006, correct?

if no to the first, and yes to the second, then I'll take one pair of 9006 8000Ks, and I'll pay when I get my paycheck on the 5th or 6th.

it should fit, since it's only bulb based.... soooo choose the right bulb and it should be fine, unless someone else think otherwise.

if your car didn't have HIDs from factory they are illegal, no matter what temp you get.
Police officer doesn't really bother unless you get like Purple or something of that matter and of course you won't pass inspection with them, so when inspection time comes I would just take them out and put the oem bulbs till inspection is over
