Ok... I got a 1994 GT-S... Its proudly pushing 268000KMs... no modicifications... I am a huge 6thgen fan but never got into modding and don't know much about under the hood...

Anyhow, I am about to get my engine shampooed to get rid of some oil from a recent clutch and seal job...

I noticed that alot of wires are no longer completely covered by the black coils/covers that usually go ontop of them... I am assuming, these covers are used to protect them from the heat...

Do you guys recommend that i have stuff rewired or re-protected?? No idea what term to use....

Thanks

you can always just use your own wire sleeves... they cost only a couple dollars and then just wrap the wires yourself. then tape them up after.
