Is it possible to hook up an amp with subs to a stock cd player?????? I just got a 96 Celica and my boyfriend has a nice system he can give me but will i be able to use it??? Thanks!

Yes you can hook up a sub to a stock deck if it doesn't have any pre-outs (rca-out). You need a speaker level output converter, and it can then be attached to the amp to provide a signal, and then the sub connected to the amp. Note some amp's even have a direct speaker level line input and provide the attachment.

Check out the link below, this guy carries some goog quality adapter, I'd suggest avoiding the economy stuff and at minimum get the n-100m, but I would suggest the n-444.
