I know this topic has been discussed many times. but the posts I've read is not clear enough for me to understand. Ok, if you look closer near the throttle body, there is a small pipe opening, what goes there, do I just cap it or do I put something? Second, some people say to cap the opening (opposite side of the sensor) but in this pic there is a breather hose connected. Now, originally, this breather hose connects somewhere towards the throttle body. So in this pic, for example, the hose was disconnected from the TB side and connected to the intake pipe side? Confused here. Does anyone have enough info on this. I mean I've read the threads but it doesn't answer or just confuses me more. Thanks.

(pic is from 6strngs' thread)

According to one of the selling threads, I see a breather filter on the side near the TB. But in that pic as well, there is a breather hose connected directly to the pipe, now what happens to the breather hose that originally connects to the TB?

But in the pic above, all I see is a hose near the TB.

the one next to the throttle body i capped on mine, as for the one right next to the sticker.. i used the stock hose, cut it in half, and used the stock restictor in the middle of the two halves.

one of these days I'll figure out what that one on the throttle body does... apparently, one of the two (the valve cover one, and the throttle body one) is your PCV valve, but I don't know which one.

I'm still confused... kindasad.gif

1. I understand some have connected this tube to the valve.
2. From the picture, I already see the valve connects to the TB side so if I perform number 1, this leaves a hole on the TB side.
3. There is another small opening that faces down here, what connects to this now?

sorry rockman but your pic might help me clear up this problem.

Below, in Rockmans setup, he has the hose connecting from the intake to the valve. But on the backside near the TB opening, he has a breather filter. In addition, I do not know what was done to the hole where the valve hose originally connected to the throttle body, was it left open or plugged or IDK.

there is a hose that comes from deep in the engine bay that connects to #3 on my intake

#1 can either connect the hose from intake to the valve cover. Or you can take that hose out and cover the intake hole, and put a breather on the valve cover. Mine is connected with a hose. But with my injen intake thats the only hose that goes into my intake, besides the mass air plug.

So what happens if I connect the hose from the valve to the intake, what happens to that same hose that was connected to the TB, there will be a hole left. Also, you should have an extra hole on the back side near the TB.

Still confused. Everyone says different things or has different styles.
