So the 3sgte swap isn't going to happen..Atleast not yet. I'm dropping another 7afe from a 95 into my 94. Just not sufficient enough funds to make the magic happen...Oh well..I'm still wanting some boost though...which is definately doable, I have a low mileage engine and if I upgrade the internals perhaps I'll have some happy boosting. I appreciate all of your input.

After you spend the money/time to reliably boost that 7afe you might as well've got a 2nd gen motor.

94 and 95 are both OBD1, the 96-97 7a is OBD2

if you are going to swap a 94 to a 95 or vise versa, there sould be absoultly no problems. Both motors, sensors, ECU pinouts, ect, are the same.

depends what part of the 95 year, if its 95 model year then yes its OBD1. if it was MADE in 95 then it could be either OBD1 or OBD2. often junkers list model year incorrectly by the date on the manufacture plate, the correct year is in the vin. model year and manufacture year can be different by upto 6 months, even more sometimes. a late 95 (date on the door sill plate) could be a 96 model year, understand my concern now?

huh? there is nothing hard about it. you just keep your old ecu and harness, and transfer any sensors that might be different from your old motor.
