Sup guys...i turned my comp on this morning and it was making weird noises..it sounds like one of the fan is starting to go bad so i open up my case but the sounds coming from the hard drive area...it sounds like a car on idle kinda(im serious), not juss as loud as a car of course...or like a fan or something is blown...im pretty sure its from my hard drive..thanks...i dont know if i explained it enough for you guys to help me..

EDIT: ok, sound is starting to die down...sounds like how my comp sounds usually...but should i take this seriously and go for a new hd??

Either get a HDD now, do a backup, install the OS and everything back to the new HDD...or run the risk of it possibly being the HDD and losing all the stuff with that one goes.

Its your call.

stop the fans with your finger one at a time and see if thats the source of the noise.
