Is it legal to get a spoiler without the LED light if you don't have one in the rear windshield? I always wondered if that rear light was on cars because of legal requirements.

Dont think it makes any difference, its just a styling thing.
As long as you have the standard break lights you dont need them. |

Heres the thing, if you dont have one then its not illegal, but if you have one, and it doesnt work, then yes its technically illegal. If you have a light in your spoiler tho, your good.

Yeah, maybe that was worded better, ,
basically if youve got a break light not working, as a driver from behind, you cant really tell whether its not working or your just not breaking, if the light is completely removed then so is the confusion... |
