I read an article about a type-r that was tuned by a guy in Japan who had a modest budget and set it up for grip. He put 205 size tyres in the front 195 in the back. The magazine said this was common for people who setup the cars for grip. I just bought kosei k1 wheels 15x7 and was thinking of doing this because it would help balance out the understeer in my car. Can anyone say if this is good or bad or worth doing, anyone know of setups like this and how it works? I would aslo put 205 front and 195 rear... Thanks

yeah man, I read that article too. it seems logical that it would reduce understeer. more traction up front, less in back. go for it, and tell us how it is.

Yep....in Sport Compact Car. I say go for it, im sure it would feel great, just as long as you get good quality tires with lots of grip that you'll be able to feel a difference with.
