Hey, Washingtonians (and Oregonians, if you have Mega Millions or just want to play anyway)...

Feel free to pipe in whether you live in the NW or not

Quote:
The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $355 million for Tuesday night's drawing.

The prize has been growing since January 12. Washington is one of 12 states in the Mega Millions game.

A winner on Tuesday would have two choices - $152 million in a lump sum or payments of nearly $10 million a year for 25 years, after taxes.

What would you do if you won Mega Millions? Lump sum, or the payments? What'd be your first major purchase that is completely indulgent, selfish and fun?

Id take lump sum cuz im impatient and I want it all now. So with 152 million my first major purchase would be to probably get myself a house and furnish it. Then id buy my parents a house.

Payments - I think I can limit myself to spending 10million a year LOL.

I would pay off my car and house. Then I would buy a IS-300 for DD and get extremely sick with the mods on my Celica.

lump sum = retarded choice

but payments would be my choice

pay off my parents place and my grandparents places
put 50% of it into the bank to accrue interest and make me money smile.gif
give my sister 10%
pay off my debt
finish my celica
invest in some land + a house for myself and the GF
start a hot rod project

and yea i'd probably go buy an exotic for ****s and giggles

I went out and bought a 1$ scratch ticket, and won 5 bucks. I was feeling lucky, so I bought 6 mega millions tickets. I'd get me a Lotus Exige and source a dry carbon kit for it.
