Driving the other day I lost my aftermarket CD player, anything that plugs into my cig lighter (radar detector, and car charger), and the power to the clock. None of it works. Has anyone dealt with this? I'm guessing a fuse, but before I rip **** apart I figured I'd ask here. I figure someone may know.

Yeah sounds like a fuse check all your fuses before you start taking stuff apart lol forgot what fuse it is I think its the clock/radio fuse but just check all your fuses in case some other ones blew too. wink.gif Oh and the fuse panel is located to the bottom left of your steering wheel lol believe it or not, I heard not much 6g owners know that.... tongue.gif

idk for sure, but on the inside of teh car, on the inside of the panel you need to remove to get to the fuses there is a diagram of them. i think it is labled cig lit/clock.

Nah - it's the radio fuse. Mine did this the other day. Those are the exact things on that fuse. It's a 15amp. Question is - what made it pop?

Got it fixed? If so and it stays fixed then it's probably the charger. Or sometimes I noticed if I take the plug for my portable DVD player out slower than normal and kinda to the side it will pop the fuse. Somehow it's just bridging the + and - I guess.

15Amp fuse wink.gif
Did you figure out what caused it to blow? Sometimes I think the fuses just get old. I've even had a few that did not appear blown but would not check for continuity and the circuit worked after changing them out. WTF?
Anyway - Glad you got your music back.

Yeah, well, I plugged the charger in again and it blew AGAIN. But this is my friend's charger, and my personal one worked. At one time I had two footwell neons, my radar detector, and phone charger all plugged in and working to my cig lighter. Its this one that's giving me problems.
