Since i've never driven one of these things, I personally don't know too much about them other than what I have read about them, but I know someone who is looking to get a reliable used luxury style car, and this instantly popped into my head. I already know that the early ones (looking prolly no newer than a 97) are slower and thirsty, but any other pointers / opinions from those who have the knowledge?

I drive a first gen GS300, and I love it. It's a little more sporty-looking than the LS, great on gas and tons of room.
Now I just need to swap a 1JZGTE into it... Other than that, both the LS and GS are among the most reliable cars ever, they are simply great. Mine has around 180k and runs perfectly. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |

Well I wouldn't mind a 2JZ, but the 1JZ is a lot cheaper and is still a lot of fun -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
