I`m looking for a part # for the all black front bumper emblem.I Have seen these gems on other models, as well as the 6G Celica. The dealer needs a part# to be able to track it down.
So I turn to the best place to answer questions about our Celicas! P.S If someone could post pics this would be a big help. Thanks Guys&Gals For The Any Help !! -------------------- |

if you are talking about the same black reflective emblems Forgmann is talking about, theres no use in getting the part numbers.
first of all, I don't believe the EPC specifies part numbers for these in particular, to get the right ones you would need to give them a VIN from a 96 or 97 Limited Edition. I can do this for you if you want and second, I am pretty sure you can no longer get them from the dealer they are a little hard to get good pictures of but here are some of the best overall and closeup shots I could find not very good but the best pictures I have of the reflective-ness -------------------- |

They should still be available. Tell the dealer you need one for a
97 limited edition Celica they should have a seperate book for badging. I got mine after the other badges were discontinued. This post has been edited by 97lestyousay: Apr 11, 2007 - 12:54 AM -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

all 6gen celicas has the same part number for that bumper emblem... So IMHO this emblem is from another Toyota, or it's some special edition, dealers option, etc (like I have seen gold one few months ago) and not listed in part's catalog

going by this ebay add:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA-AVAL...sspagenameZWDVW the guy has a black emblem, the one that says the word toyota. but he says it's from an avalon. and he provides the part number. so maybe try to find a part number for the front emblem of an avalon? or just get this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-OEM-TOY...sspagenameZWDVW edit: that second add states that the part number is 75311-OC010 This post has been edited by 6strngs: Apr 11, 2007 - 2:28 AM -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

Toyota World has no part # but here is the link to it. I didn't actually order it so it may
not be available but this should be the part. I went to body parts catalog for 97 celica /front bumper/ emblem/ w- black apperance package. This is what came up. https://www.trademotion.com/memberservices/...siteid%3D213747 Edit: the avalon is likley not going to be the same size, or the black reflective material. The Front and rear badges on the 97 are also diferent sizes as shown below. it's too bad i can't find my old 97 limited that got smashed cause it had both front and back emblems on there both the black reflective ones.
i will def keep looking for it though. is there any way to track a car using the vin #? like a website or something? there are a bunch of things i want to get out of it. and the emblems would be simpe to snag as well. if there is just let me know. thanks -------------------- |

This is what came up. http://www.trademotion.com/shoppingcart/in...26catalogid%3D2 that link didn't bring it up but I went to: Body/Collision Catalog - Front Bumper -- Bumper and Components --- Emblem ---- w/ black appearance package and it says "To headlamp cover, 1997, MSRP $35.79, Your price $27.29" now, what the hell does "to headlamp cover" mean? so I click "see illustration" and it shows this: 13) to headlamp cover back (which is what I thought it was but that had absolutely nothing to do with the emblem) 14) w/o black appearance package to headlamp cover 15) emblem retainer and a little off topic but I have never seen an emblem retainer, even people with the regular emblems have pegs for placement only but the emblem is just stuck on with double-sided-tape-like material. but yeah, I think I'll stop at the dealer and give them my VIN and ask for the part number for my emblems.
