The plastic top piece on my radiator recently got a small crack in the corner and is leaking fluid pretty strongly, does the plastic top piece remove from the rest of the radiator? and can it be fixed since its just plastic? My buddy is an architect and they use this stuff called ZapAGap for plastic and it actually melts the plastic on contact and then it rehardens... would this work? I'll try to find a pic of exactly where its cracked...
the end of the arrow is where it's leaking, right in that corner... This post has been edited by pittfirefighter: Apr 21, 2007 - 2:45 PM -------------------- Breaking Axles...

i'd suggest replacing the radiator all together. fixes like that are usually temporary even if they say "permanent". it'll end up causing you more grief in the long run.

i agree, you need a new radiator. the end tank is not removable.
