So, for some odd reason, one of the two dome lights lights up dimmer then the other. I used the same bulbs, same package and every thing. This is the weirder thing though, it only happens once in awhile, and its only the light near the steering wheel thats not bright. Any one know if there is a brighter bulb out there?/any companies make aftermarket bulbs for the dome light? I kinda want to b able 2 use them. I seriously cant see any thing in my car at night.

no...they r like 169s or somethin like that..like they arent peanut bulbs, more like 1156 style/sized bulbs..its what i was told by 3 different dealerships my car uses. But the ones in there are just a set of Motomaster *Canadian tire brand..but since your not from canada, pep boys house brand*

EDIT: ill take some pics tomorrow if i get a chance.

Try removing the bulb and cleaning the contacts on the car side with some fine sandpaper. A little carbon build up can cause a higher resistance and dimmer light. If that dosen't help it's probably a loose ground.
