prolly a stupid question, but i was readin how the v6 camry tranny will fit the 3sgte and how also my 5sfe tranny will fit...i was just wonderin if the v6 camry tranny will bolt onto my 5sfe....if so how hard would it b to make it fit....would it b worth the trouble....i want to boost my car eventually if that makes ne diff.

You'll need to redo the tranny mount, axles, and will need new flywheel/clutch. Deal with the present before you plan for the future.

basically you should just wait until you ready for the 3sgte befoe you go on about the trans, as theres no point to do all that work and then have to do work again when you swap.

o....i think u misunderstood me then...i meant i want to boost the 5s...im not doin tha swap...just thought i would b better off boosting my car after i get a strong tranny....just wasnt sure if it was worth it...and from wat ur sayin i guess not.

There is no misunderstanding. Unless you a have a turbo NOW... best to save the worry about tranny strength till AFTER performance mods are either said and done or in actual progress. Do you buy gas before you buy a car? Likewise... what good will a tranny do if you yet have the power to push it.

um i b able to shift harder w/o as much worry of tearing somthing up...it shouldnt matter which order...if im gonna buy a car ill need gas so i could go ahead and get it....either way i will have to have it...

Are you talking about a manual v6 Camry tranny? If so then you should probably just sell it to someone with a v6 Camry because they're pretty rare in the US since we didn't get any.

yea...thats what im talkin abt. i know they r rare but i found 1 for like 400 w/o clutch or flywheel or nething but i just spent the money replacing my clutch and axles so i dont think i really need that tranny neways...i was just wonderin if it would b wrth it and what kinda diff. it would make...cuz im not good w/ tha whole gear ratio thing...so i thought i would asked som1 who was.
