I can't seem to get the bolt that holds the acuator rod to the window off. I just don't have any room to work with. Could someone help me get this window out??

I'm sorry I can't post anything other than that I have an issue with mine as well. I took the seats and plastic side panel off, but also cannot get to any of the parts.

After some hardcore searching around here I found these:

Now, if I could just figure out how to get that freaking huge piece of plastic off so I can get at it all...

What I need to know is how to get at that part-- In a convertible, there is a single gigantic molded plastic piece that covers the entire back half of the interior... including that quarter window. How do I remove it?

then you must be talking about the interior trim of the speakers. This is held by a couple of screws. Two on the top, and two on the bottom. The plastic thing is attached itself from the back by a plastic (screw-pin) type. Like the ones that hold the molded carpet. Carefuly pop them out wth a flat screw driver. You wont see them, they are in the back.

am i helping?

i spent roughly 4 - 5 hours putting it back together, because iu was trying. dont spend 900 bucks. Y only spent 60 on the part. Ordered from dealer.

it is easier to get the whole part out by lowering the window first. The whole thin is hold by three bolts, and the motor by 4.

to put it together i then separated the motor from the whole thing. Put the motor first, then the other structure. then inside play around to hook em up together. roughly try to set up the motor about halfway. this is the better angle. and again, its not easy, but its worth it.

I managed to get mine out, and I got the new plates on the windows on. I did it when I was replacing my top, so that made it a little easier. I just unbolted the window from the arm and slide the window out. But that makes it sound easy. I got my knuckles pretty busted up.
