hit & run >< Options

even though i only drive like 5000miles/yr and park as far away from other ppl as possible... my car got sideswiped in a parking lot hit & run today... it's not totalled... fender is all scratched up and dented... but not sure if there is any other damage behind fender... i hope i can just pull the dent out...

i can't believe within the last yr, my 06 civic has gotten hit twice and now my celi too ><

wtf is going on???

i just saw part of the damage extends to my door too >< ... luckily my retroed projectors, wheels and folding mirrors are still ok

i was < 500m away and i can't believe my 2-way viper didn't even go off either...

does anyone think that can get popped back out?

go over to 427 collision in Toronto. QEW and kipling, south of the QEW. Exit at kipling, head south, when you get to the next road over the bridge, turn right, about half a block down on the south side you'll see it. Go to them, they could probably pop it out, or get it fixed easily.

That sucks man. When i first got my celica, i had a guy side swipe me at the drive-in and took the paint off just b4 the rear wheel well, and tryed to drive off, then the day i got my alarm, i had some guy back up to me in a tim hortons parking lot and tryed to drive off. I managed to stop him, he told me he was just trying to move away so he can take a look at the damage. weird thing was it was one of my dad's best friend in highschool's kid..lol But yea...the GTA sucks for hit and runs and ppl being dicks about doing stuff like that. The amount of dings and dents i have from ppl opening their doors pisses me off. Its even worse when you know some one did it, and they pretend it didnt happen.

But yea, go see the guys at 427, they should b able 2 fix that for pretty cheap.

the only difference is I got to watch the '07 silver lexus scrape a 6' bright red gash from her front tire to her back tire, get out inspect the damage, get back in her car and take off.

Ive never felt so hopeless in my life, but the cop was so excited to go on a chase when i called him, i was like yea heres her license plate, and he gave me his card then got out of there as fast as he could with an ear-to-ear grin, funny stuff lol

Anyways let me know how the repair goes, i cant really take it to a shop cause im not telling insurance ( im 17, **** that )

I have state farm im not sure exactly what the fee yearly is, its really high though because i have significant tickets under my belt:

-reckless endangerment
-speeding 95 in 45
-failure to comply
-failure to stop at sign

and i didnt wear my seat belt but the officer let me off on that one,

I got them all in one night and i wouldnt go back and stop myself for the world, running from the cops is one of the biggest adreneline rushes ever and its an extremely baddass story to tell everyone at school or to your grandkids lol

I had them all reduced too with a 300 dollar lawyer, all i had to do was take defensive driving and 3 out of the 4 tickets got dropped, in the end failure to comply i was charged to as guilty and it was a $155 fine

I need to let my insurance cool for a while, thats the main reason for not bringing up a hit and run with my agent lol

i know i smoked a cop through a curvy suburb. those big heavy oversteering cars just cant take the 15mph turns at 55.. lol

i was getting my other car fixed today so i asked the guy if my car was fixable... he said after popping it back out it'd need some body filling and repaint... and i'm short on cash lately =/...

plus i just went to pick up my bro and noticed i'm getting a lot of noise/sounds from my suspension now...

that exact thing happened to my car, on the same side, and in the same spot. it might be cheaper to get a replacement fender.

it wasnt a crown vic, it was an Impala, still an american POS and i coulda beat him like you said on turns but i went around one and turned quick into my friends driveway, then he came around too, went about 500ft down the road, realized i wasnt there then before i could get my friends garage open he flashed his little fog light thing in the driveway and saw me, it was close, if i had 45 more seconds he woulda gave up. lol

it might not be your suspension, maybe its just the fender rubbing. my fender is cracked and i heard noises that sound like suspension..
