dont forget to check the relays, one of my dad's cars had a starting problem and after checking everything in the car, it turned out to be a little relay.

good luck.

Yeah it may be a relay, it maybe a coil, it may be an incorrect hook up in the ecu...i'll have to check everything.

No, if it were the battery, the car would do absolutely nothing. I can turn on all my accessories, windows, sunroof, fan. Plus i hooked up my Apex'i RSM, which is really cooly by the way.

Ordered the part yesterday, in today but when i stopped by they said another hour, which i couldnt do. Tomorrow i'll get it and hook up that and another thing and well, we'll see.

Could the sound of the 2nd Gen 3sgte be in the future?
Will he ever finish this project?
Tune in tomorrow - same Celica channel, same Celica time.

is it still at the shop? if it has have them hook it up to their computer and see what codes the ECU is throwing, we had the same problem with the race car, it ended up being a faulty ECU, but if you do that you can narrow down where the problem is at. and if that doesnt work, bring out the voltage tester and go through your wiring harness, see where its loosing power.
also make sure not to try turning it over too much and make sure no cylinders have flooded or hydrolocked. we warped a rod trying to start the race car, when we finally did get it to work, 6 laps into the first race the rod cracked and left the block, not a pretty sight.

same thing happened to me

well kinda

got my car lowered then out of the blue when the guy is bringing it out of the shop the car died

it sucked !!!!!
cost me like 800 bucks to fix it cuz my igniter was shot and so was the ignition coil
the shop thought it was the computer but good thing i went to a toyota dealership and they told me it was the ignition coil

Sup Stranger - do you have an ST or a GT?

BTW: My car was never in a shop, its at my friends garage, he has a lift there.
The coil was 80$, and the ignition wires are 80$...800 seems kinda steep.

I got a GT! Anyways id rather pay $800 to do a swap than paying $1700-$2500 here in Oahu !
