i was looking at a boost controller to and the one that seemed the best to buy for me was the profec b spec 2 - just get it set professionally (as its apparently a bit complicated but its reviews were all good.
what i read: apexi avc-r -works great, must splice ECU harness. blitz sbc i-d -works awsome, non standard vacuum fitting, lame scramble boost feature. greddy profec a -no better than a ball valve, dated design. greddy profec b(not spec 2) -works great, sensative nob. hks evc ez -not as good as ball valve, significant boost spike. hks evc IV silver edition-wont work well on a boost creep car- needs to be set manually, then doesnt hold true. but some cars it works good on. scramble works well. ball valve (dds manual boost controller) -works pretty darn good, simple, effective, consistent, some boost spiking.
