WHat do you guys think of this in place of my backseat? I'm also mounting an amp back there and the blue glow would go with the rest of my interior.

Those are nice, and just so you know, I was looking around at Best Buy the other day and they had a good deal with those subs. Something about when you buy an AMP you get those subs and case for oinly 100 bucks or somethin, normally they are 200 or something i guess.

i would never go with dual, they don't sound really good, look for better brands, they cost more, but its worth it.

Case in point: I bought my JL W0s when I was a senior in highschool and I still have them and they work great. They are nearly 9 years old!

Agreed. I bought my JL 12w6v2 used about 2 years ago and it still works great. Dual is a cheap brand thats why you can get them cheap.

no dont buy the box and put your own subs in either.

every sub needs its own demensions and ports and what nots.

but dual sucks.
sorry.

look into like:

Alpine
JL
Kicker
Eclipse
Infinity
Rockford Fosegate

theres alot more but those are all pretty good and not overly expensive....besides JL...but any of those would be WAY better than Dual.

and make sure you get a good amp also.

do not buy dual please... u will have more problems than they are worth... even if your budget is tight, atleast look into kicker or audiobahn... hell even sony would be better than dual... then get a nice mono or 2 channel amp and you will be good

^^^Honestly, try ebay.....I got my whole set up and its lasted me 5 years now. Go to best buy or some car audio place and find the exact part numbers for the subs, wires, amp, and boxes that you want. Then get them from ebay...saves you a bunch of money.

just so everyone knows, i have a nice 2 jl 12w7 system that sounds great...

my cousin got this sub set from circuit city, 100 bucks got him a 150-250 watt amp, not labeled but guessing by the fuse rating

and 2 12" subs

cheap, gets the job done

if you like the sub setup, great!

if you want it to be AMAZING your prolly not gonna get that, but if you like how it looks in your car and you like how they sound, thats all that matters

i prefer to have what i have, and my cousin prefers his, no sense droppin 1k+ into a system if your not going to appreciate/make use for the extra that your paying for

Yeah, not to deny the advice you guys are giving, but I should let you know that all I want is a little bit of knock. It'll be where the back seats were so I doubt I would need the same power that I would from a trunk. I don't really need a great sub, I just want something that lets me enjoy my music a little more and I figured that I might as well try to make the interior look better at the same time. The blue lights match my interior. If they are gonna fall completely apart or something, then I don't want them. But I don't really need high performance. Just something that will be okay. So what's the deal? Are these still HORRIBLE or are they okay for what I want?

if you want cheap bang, go for infinity. Nothing matches the price/quality of these subs. Of course they will be more than the dual but well worth the few extra buck.

I'd appreciate just a couple more opinions keeping in mind what I just recently wrote before I make a decision.
