What can be done to the stock ST engine, to improve the performance? Can a turbo be added and things like that? I have the '94 hatchback, with a 7a-Fe engine, i believe, as far as I have seen it usually says the model on the engine, but i cant find anything that says what it is, the only thing i do see is on the body of the car....

7AFE is for gas saving, not for performance. If you want more from the Celica, sell the ST and get a GT.

Don't trade it for GT, If you got manual. If it's auto trade it for manual ST or GT. Or just swap motor for 3sgte with manual. Good luck...

yea non of u answered his question, yes there is a turbbo for the 7a-fe,the T-3 or the T-25(i thikn its 25)yes but making a 7a-fte(t=turbo) is a lot more than just buying a turbo and sticking it in,ull have around 2000$ worth of parts when u are finished, and that a cheap one.But a 7a-fte runs around 180-230 hp depnds on teh quality of the parts.
heres a slightly modded 7a-fe: This post has been edited by CelicaST_CALI: Jul 5, 2007 - 5:04 PM -------------------- BANNED. for life, you moron.

I am thinking about this, and i can get a turbo, but i was looking at the engine and it seemed there was not much i could do without replacing a lot of items. The picture has a cold air intake only, right? |
