We are planning to move from San Gabriel to Walnut (25 Miles). 1 bed, 1 living room, 1 kitchen of stuff... Would you pay around $100 for U-Haul and move everything yourself, or would you hire some local movers to do the job for you?
Stuff needed to be moved: 1 bed 1 fridge 1 sofa 4 shelfs and drawers 10~15 boxes of crap 1 tv, vcr... etc. U-Haul Rate (Move it yourself): 1-way 17' truck flat rate: $50 + liability insurance + tax Movers Rate (Move for you): $50 / hour (Minimum 2 hours) + tips at the end Right now I'm leaning towards hiring movers as it is almost 90 degree in LA and... i'm quite lazy Any pros and cons you guys had experienced with the movers? Something I should beware? No go? U-Haul for life? What you think? Thanks! -------------------- |
