i am inthe process of cleaning my TB and ISV and as soon as i got the TB off , i noticed that there is heavy carbon everywhere and it also felt extremely oily ... is that normal ? or do i have a problem somewhere ? like some valve leaking oil into my intake ?

I just changed my PCV and Fuel filter , also reset my ECU today , the car runs fine but feels a bit slugish ... its almost like there is not as much power ..... what could i have done wrong !!! ... i had to take out my air filter assemble , maybe i messed up putting it back together ?? i am not sure ? what could it be !

carb cleaner and a wire brush will be what you need.

Edit: The wire brush should be small, like a toothbrush size.

Well it'll come back, but you wont have to worry about it for another 30k miles.
