Ive began to look for a 3SGTE clip. I would like to purchase a book about the 3SGTE motor which may give me insights into how to build the motor properly. You see books like these for GM and Ford motors all the time but I havent seen anything for the 3SGTE. It doesnt need to be a US publication. Does anyone know if such a thing exists?

What you are looking for is the factory repair manual, a.k.a. Big Green Book (BGB).
You can find them on ebay for about $80 a set.
You only need vol. 1 (engine)
What generation of 3S are you purchasing?
If it is 2nd gen, you can get either MR2 one or Celica one.
I've rarely seen the 3rd gen though.
BTW, there is an electronics version on Celicatech.com

BGB will tell you pretty much what you want to know such as what torque spec are, where to put seal packing, what type of seal packing, etc ...

it may not be the exact parts to use for what power levels but it will give you a good bench mark. what needs to be done to obtain a certain power level.
