I did a search on ebay to see what is the cheapest aluminum radiator available. It seems an aluminum rad for a civic can be had for about $80 or so shipped.

Obviously this is a lot cheaper than a Koyo designed for our cars.

I don't think the civic radiator has as much surface area, unless it is taller than ours. I happened to see one person with a turboed 7A(i think) that had a civic rad, but there is not much, if any info on the fitment/process/results


Anyone with (or attempted) a civic/other car radiator swap? What do you think? Temperature numbers before and after?

civic radiators, or at least the ones I've seen, are only about half as wide as our radiator... here's a pic I took off google to show what I mean:

now, could you make it work? I don't know. but my guess is that it wouldn't be able to keep the engine cool enough.
