I finally had my sideskirts painted and installed. Here are a couple of photos (ok, more than a couple) with the new look.
Here's a close up shot of the cutout design with the wire mesh. With molded raiser blocks! Interior shot with Culps shift boot and armrest installed. Looks awesome!!!
We have a similar taste in styling. My only suggestion is maybe black mesh instead of the silver. -------------------- |

QUOTE(airfron @ Aug 5, 2007 - 2:35 AM) Looks awesome!!! We have a similar taste in styling. My only suggestion is maybe black mesh instead of the silver. I was actually considering that initially. but as i couldn't find the black mesh i wanted to see what it would look like with the mesh and then paint it black afterwards. Anyone willing to do a quick PS to see what the mesh would look like in black? -------------------- "Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic. That's pretty subtle, so it actually doesn't look half bad. The more I look at it, the more I like it! Not a big fan of the spoiler though! Nice work.

QUOTE(Redline08 @ Aug 6, 2007 - 4:21 PM) x2 on the black mesh, drop her too A+ I would love to drop her, but the roads here are so bad, even now i've barely scraped the skirts. My road is basically just a dirt road. But i might still do it. -------------------- "Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic. jeez photobucket is being stupidly annoying at work. I'll email the picturs home mate and upload them there. Think work must have some sort of block on it for some reason (worked ok the other day!)

QUOTE(vsideboy @ Aug 8, 2007 - 9:51 PM) here you go matey Thanks, man! You know, that might actually look pretty good. If i tint my windows darker and paint the mesh gloss black, it may just flow nicely. I know in the end its what I want that matters, but does anyone else have any thoughts? -------------------- "Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic. I'm going to Greece in October with the g/f and once i get back, its projectors, paint job, and clear front turns. I think I'll do the mesh this weekend though. -------------------- "Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic. But revolutionaries built the Celica!"- Me |
